Delmore Grave Sites
They are buried in Old Athens Cemetery located Athens, AL on Washington St. where Washington St. meets Thomas St. It’s at the end of the Cemetery. When you enter at the last gate on Washington St. you will make a quick turn to the right which curves around going straight on the right look for 2 Crepe Myrtles at the back of some of the graves and you will see Rabon’s easy, it’s tall & shaped like a guitar. That is also where my Grandparents are buried along with my little sister, Susan. Then the curve bears to the right, on the left you will see the Bench & the other gravesites. My Mother & Daddy’s marker is tall & has Vases drilled in the top so when you add flowers it’s taller, you will see them & they are close to the road. I found out that they have visitors from all over that come to visit. I had one fan that come over from France! When I found out that lots of people visit, I knew I needed to replace some of the markers, because they were old and no one could find them. So I started replacing the Markers one by one & added a bench so everybody could find them.
